It Beats Another Morning In The Heat
A friend of mine told me last week about
target="_blank">Kids Bowl Free. I may be the last mom in
America to know about it, but in case I’m not, here’s
the deal:
You go to this website and find out if there’s a
participating bowling alley in your area – they’re all
over the country. If there is, you register each of your children
with the bowling alley, and once a week for the whole summer they
send you coupons for two free games for each child – for
EVERY DAY.
That’s right, your kids can bowl two free games every day,
all summer long.
Of course, there’s still the cost of
shoe rental and pretzels and whatever, but it’s still two
free games a day – and that’s about all the attention
span my kids have.
And if you want to get the whole family in on it, for a one-time
fee of about twenty-five bucks, you can register up to FOUR adults,
so that they, too, get two free games each day.
That’s right – twenty-five bucks, and my entire family
bowls for free the entire summer.
Even if we only use it once a month, we’ll get our
twenty-five bucks back. And if I register for this thing I’ve
got something to fall back on when I can stomach another day of
sweating and eating sandwiches at the freakin’ pool.
Line ‘em up!
